Night Shift Vintage 2024 / Triticale Wine Aged in Gemenc Whiskey & Tennessee Whiskey Barrels

This year, we wanted to include another very special grain beer among our offerings, so we chose triticale. Triticale is a hybrid of wheat and rye, and its known and used version has existed since the 1950s. Naturally, a portion of the base triticale wine was aged in Gemenc Whiskey barrels, previously used for aging triticale whiskey. The remaining triticale wine was aged in Bourbon barrels, and from the blend of the two, this magical batch was born, highlighting the unique flavor profile of triticale.
